aving an international guest in town I wanted to impress, I decided to try Zafferanos once more as it certainly has a great location.
However upon arriving I was disappointed with the very bad service we recieved. We did complain after not having our order taken after 45 mins and the service did pick up a little, but I would have thought that unscrewing the caps on the bottle of wine would be elementary.
For the prices that are charged I would expect superior service. I felt embarrased to be entertaining a guest at Zafferanos.
Most of the services mistakes are elementary. eg. water on being sat at the table and a drink order being taken promptly, neither of these happened. One of the guests had her wine selection questioned, which made her feel very uncomfortable.
I would not recommend the restaurant to anyone. I have received better service at my local cafe.
Zafferanos please pick up the service to match the prices you are charging for the ok food you are serving badly.
