hen a restaurant sets its menu prices it is to reflect not only the food quality, but the service and the general atmosphere. Clearly Villa D'este's prices are to high. After delightful experiences at Jackson's, Must wine bar, Bouchon bistro, Star Anise, I am left puzzled that Villa D'este can charge more than some of Perth's top restaurants. Service was ok, although the waiters didn't seem to up to speed with the menu. The stand out disappointment would be the food. All four of us were left very disappointed. It is not worth my time explaining every meal we ordered and all of the flaws.
Simply… Do not bother! Spend your money elsewhere and enjoy better service, a nicer atmosphere and most importantly better food. Food that actually matches its price tag.
