e went to The Vic on a Friday evening minus a reservation and it was predictably very busy. The staff fitted us in and that set the standard for the service throughout. Extremely helpful, professional and friendly.
Both the Prawn Risotto ($22.50) and Scallopini (($24.90) were attractively presented, cooked to near perfection and good serves. My wife's cheescake was apparently well up to the standard of the mains.
They have live music in the bar which does not overely intrude into the restaurant area. The Vic is lively, bustling and a good place for an excellent night out. Beer prices are more than fair. Well recommended.

I'm pleased to hear that you had a good experience. I went to the Vic for a Christmas Party and the food and service were atrocious. The prawn salad was possibly the worst dish I have seen come out of a professional kitchen! But perhaps this was all a product of the pre-Christmas rush and being a large function. I might have to try dinner here based on your experience. | ||
