Perth Food Review

W e have been fairly regular visitors to The Thai House but this was our first visit since the new management took over. The changes are subtle but have improved what was already a very good restaurant. Service is efficient, pleasant and unobtrusive. We had the Thai Fish Cakes ($7) and Spring Rolls ($6) as an entree. This was a little ambitious given the size of the main courses that followed. My wife chose the Pad Thai Prawn ($13) which was excellent and I chose the Red Curry with Prawns($22) one of their signature dishes. I have always rated my best ever Red Curry Prawn dish as one served in Harmonique in Bangkok, but I would now be hard pushed to decide which was best.

With more than sufficient food, a Singha Beer and a soft drink the bill came to $47 having taken account of the Entertainment Card.

Full marks to the new owners. The Thai House is a relaxed and pleasant place to eat with excellent food and service. Add in the good parking nearby and it all makes for a very pleasant night out.
