W e went to The Red Teapot on our way home from the City for an early dinner and our expectations were surpassed. There were already a few people there and it wasn't even six. We had the salt and pepper squid tentacles for entree to share. It was fantastically crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. For mains we shared Chicken and Mushroom Clay Pot and the Black Pepper Beef with steamed rice. We couldn't decide which we preferred but both were very distinctly flavoured and fresh. All dishes are excellent value; just $30 for entire evening after our 10% early eaters discount (before 7pm). You have to try this place to believe how good it is especially considering the prices but beware there are no EFTPOS facilities and its BYO so go prepared.
