Perth Food Review

W e went to the New Orleans restaurant in Northbridge very early on a Friday night. For entree we shared the Chilli Calamari - I'd have to say this is the best I've had in Perth! The afterbite was a pleasant delight with the mix of cajin and chilli spices and the calamari was SO tender. For main hubby had the Ribs, which he said were the best he's had in Australia! He ate ribs in America and hasn't found as good a bite here yet - these he said were fantastic. The meat just fell off the bone and were done with a yummy salsa type sauce - it also came with the best potato salad I've ever had. I had the Southern Fried chicken which was delightful. We also shared the mudcake for desert, which was yummy. But I must admit we had to roll out of the restaurant!

We went back a week later, again had the Chilli Calamari (couldn't resist), hubby had the Chicken and spanish sausage Jambalaya and I had the Pork with pears and cajun vegies. Once again the meat was cooked to perfection.

The service is very friendly. We couldn't get a table outside and they were prepared to move one out, when we saw one become available we asked if we could move outside. They were very happy to move us out.

I just love the place, it's different, the service is great, the food is fantastic. We'll be visiting a lot more in the future.
