recently Visited the Friary Restaurant in Armadale WA and i must say that i was extremly disapointed with almost every aspect of my visit
Food:
I ordered a Garlic Prawn and Bacon fettucini and my partner orded a Beef nacho's. The prawns were by far the highlight of the meal as the sauce tasted disgusting, the pasta was overcooked, they were out of fettucini and were forced to use noodles and there was a distinct overuse of spring onions . My partners Nacho's were absolutely disgusting to the point that she could not even finish the plate. they tasted absouletly nothing like nacho's.
Service:
The service was non existant. there was one person on who seemed to be cooking as well as serving and to say her customer service skills were lacking would be a decided understatment. She was not rude as much as completely devoid of personality and hospitality. The only time she came to our table was when she heard us starting to grumble about the long wait times and crappy food and even then she was no help what so ever
Drinks:
Expensive and the glass i used had strands of fabric from the teatowl that was used to clean it.
Overall:
I would not recommend anyone going to this resturant unless you want to wait an eternity for poor food and bad customer service

In response to your comment professor chaos .I am the chef and owner of the establishment you are reffering to. First of all I would just like to tell everyone who reads this alittle about my self. I trained for 3yrs full time catering college in the uk and worked in various establishments all over the world eg Claridges london ,(pre Gordon ramsey ) hotels and casinos as head chef including uk , spain , mallorca , russia and australia . My business has been operating in Armadale for five years and getting stronger each year despite the recent recession. | ||

We have just moved into Armadale and was looking for a nice place to eat we came across The friary as it did not look like much from the out side a lady commented for us to come in as the food was lovley, | ||
