imply Put- The best indian in perth.
The 5 Rivers delivers the kind of curry i missed in England with the constituency i found in hotels of Mumbai and Delhi such as The Oberoi, marriott, the Taj, Grand Hyatt from when i enjoyed great food on a company budget.
ive been to red turban, princess of india, 2 fat indians, royal india, maya masala, cutney marys, 9 marys and angiti. each visit to each of them left me with dissapointment because of packet mixes, chicken thigh, meat with grizzel and onian bhajis which werent even made of onions but filled with potato????!!!
i ordered a Chicken balti, vegetable biriyani, fish tikka, garlic naan and meat samosas. and not one of these dishes disappointed me.
This Joint obviously uses chicken breast, fresh vegetables, thick and saucy dishes which are definitely not pataks curry paste.
Fish tikka was meaty and succulent. this kind of curry reminded me distinctly about england in the birmingham triangle curry region.
not oily, fresh, thick and tasty. the tandoor style fish tikka was exceptionally good and meaty with a great barbecue taste.
service was great, except it was busy the night we dined in so we waited a while for our food.
the decor wasnt that great but with top quality food i simply didnt care.
