unch Saturday 15 Aug, Chilli Mussels.
The shells did open (=bad) 40% of the time. Those that opened did not contain formed mussels but off colour mucous 30% of the time.
The pay desk manager said 'Oh yes, a lot of people have complained about the mussels. But they are very expensive from our supplier Kailis'.
I asked her to stop smirking, as I could see no reason for it.
It has to be the worst mussel dish I have eaten in 40 years.
Think hard before you go near this Leederville restaurant, It must be in decline.
