ince this restaurant has opened i have been a regular patron. Unlike many of the indian restaurants i have tried in perth this restaurant is consistently fantastic. The taste of these curries is fantastic i thoroughly recommend the butter chicken, the lamb spinich curry and the chicken vindaloo. The butter chicken would have to be the best in Perth i have tried. I have tried many curry houses including the following:
Gogos,The Maya, The Bengal, Maya Masala, Budda Bar, Anghiti, Punjab, The Mela, D'tandoor, Royal Shalimar, chutney marys and so on and so on.
The secret of a good butter chicken starts with the chicken being correctly cooked in a tandoori oven and secondly the sauce and this is where this restaurant excels.Many curry houses in perth don't marinate the chicken and they pan cook it and add it to the sauce, shenhai obviously does it correctly. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anyone and to try and challenge other indian restaurants to produce butter chicken and chicken vindaloos to this standard.
This restaurant is always my first pick to go to in perth above all the other ones including gold plate winners!
i drive from rockingham to go to this restaurnat in ocean reef and that says it all.
Definitely a must to try!

We have been customers of Zaheer & Iowa's wonderful restaurant since the day it opened. We lived around the corner in Beaumaris before moving to Como and think nothing of heading up the freeway to enjoy the Palak Paneer, Aloo Zeehra, Beef Madras, Dahl, Chicken Tikka & Pilau Rice. We always have the same thing but after reading the comments on perthfr we can't wait to go back for the Butter Chicken et al. | ||
