M
y partner and I dined at The Purple Goat Cafe for my birthday and it was fantastic!
The venue is completely unassuming, located in Flora Tce, North Beach away from the bustle of main road traffic. And the menu is widely varied. Spanish influenced and alot of tapas for those who like to share.
Our waiter was very well organised, his knowledge of the menu was excellant and he even anticpated our palette to the tee.
It was very busy even for a weeknight, so I expect that bookings are a must. We highly recommend this venue and will definately be returning to this establishment.

Complimentary bread with beatiful olive oil balsamic vinegar dip on arrival, (how many years has it been since I've had free bread at a restaurant). A very contemporary menu with mexican roots, the famous goat curry to veluptuous lamb shanks. Love the Tapas plate its HUGE. Meals are enormous, my fav has to be the Chilli Beer Mussels which has LOADS of vege's. EXCELLENT selection of quality wines at reasonable prices. A very intimate little space. Well done crew! | ||
