P izza Bellaroma is a Fremantle icon, there is always a que but this rarely deters its loyal patrons. We decided to try and avoid a que by arriving at about 5.00pm on a Sunday afternoon, we soon realised that it doesn’t matter when you arrive you will be greeted by a short wait to get a seat in this popular restaurant. After about five minutes we were seated and promptly had our order taken. My friend and I decided to share a large Pizza Bellaroma as this is ample for two and our other friend ordered the calamari. The calamari arrived about 15 minutes later and was absolutely fantastic, served with chips on a bed of lettuce it was crumbed and had a beautiful hint of garlic. It was cooked to perfection and was thoroughly enjoyed, unfortunately though on its own as our pizza has been mistakenly given to another table. The staff dealt with the mistake well promptly bringing us some garlic bread and our when our pizza eventually arrived about 20 minutes after the calamari it was, as always excellent. The pizza was generously topped and was generous serve for two, which at $18.50 is good value. It was a shame that we could not all enjoy our meals together but these things happen and we would still return to Pizza Bellaroma.
