UNREAL FOOD, SERVICE AND AMBIANCE! WOW, for the first time in Perth, I am impressed with the food! This is something special for sure.....
We were seated at our table for 4 on a Wednesday night for our 7.30pm booking - we were surprised that the restaurant was so viby and full on a Wednesday night - the atmosphere was really great.
Our waiter explained to us that the menu consisted of "African Fusion" with dishes from all over Africa - from Morroco all the way down to the South - it sounded interesting!
We started off with the Tasting Plates which were such a great way to discover what they offered and what the cuisine was all about - everything was so tasty and it is obvious that the kitchen must have a few chefs in there.....as this is not something you knock up at home!
Our mains were all shared between the 4 of us - my favourite was the Spatchcock and Trout Sahara - unreal flavours and attention to detail.
Desserts were to die for and we shared all 3 on offer - my favourite was the Zulu Rose for sure.
At the end of our meal, the bill came to (with alcohol) $210 - now that is Total Value for money because we ate the most amazing food I have eaten in Perth since arriving 10 months ago from Sydney....
I love this place - the food and everything about it - I will be spreading the word and will be coming back to try out everything else on the menu!
Thanks Pink Zulu - you have created something special and unique - very funky and viby - even by a Sydney siders standards!

I think that is hilarious - she's a STAFF member and only gave service a 9. Of course, she might be the cook which is why she gave the food a 10. | ||
