antastic Vietnamese food!
Four of us went and for an entree each, four mains and steamed rice plus corkage the bil came to just over $70 and we left feeling full and satisfied.
The entrees of satay chicken and rice spring rolls were shared and were delicious as were the mains that included both meat and vegetarian dishes were extremely fresh tasting flavours.
The restaurant was full making it a bit noisy but ok, as the service was good. The decor is nicely done and the restaurant clean complementing the nice food.

Dined at Phi Yen with a friend last night - I have been a few times before and thought that the food was always fresh tasting, quickly prepared and consistently good. Last night was no exception and I can recommend the chicken satay for entree and deep fried snapper fillet with a ginger sauce as a main. I have had these two dishes at each visit, along with the steamed asian vegetables with oyster sauce and have not been disappointed. | ||

Another regular haunt. Especially for groups. They have a couple of new dishes including sugar cane prawn (a sort of fish ball mixture moulded onto a stick of sugar cane and deep fried) and fresh spring rolls with pork. I still recommend the snapper which is always good. This is not a place for outstanding service, the service is adequate but the food is outstanding. | ||
