O scars at Ellenbrook is ;

Pretentious and overpriced, with no atmosphere. Noisy as well.

Big difference between food as described in the menu and what is delivered to the table. eg. described as fillet steak in the menu and a cheap thinley sliced over-cooked unidentifiable large quantity of meat delivered to the table

They obvisiouly think "quantity makes up for quality". In my world it does not!

From the prices being charged they must also think that they are up there with the likes of the best in Perth - believe me they are not!

I went to Oscars in Currambine. The service was great but the food and the atmosphere are bad.

Atmosphere: Loud. Bad accoustics. Endless bass thumping over the loudspeakers. Nice decor though.

Food: My meal looked like a ripped up lettuce had been dumped onto the middle of my plate, a few bits of room temperature tomatoes & cucumber, shaved carrot strips and capsicum was put on top. The dressing was just like oil (no vinegar?). The orange garnish was bitter. The deep fried calamari came from a bulk packet and I got about 8 of them. More crumbs than calamari. All this for ~$18.

Despite all this, the people around me enjoyed their meals (very imaginative = steak/fish + chips + salad garnish) and the place is obviously very popular.

Next time I'd rather go to Sizzlers.
