W e ended up at Monza because we went to dine elsewhere in Leederville but the restaurant was full, we were happy we found this restaurant though. We were promptly seated and served drinks before we shared a very nice dips plate to start. All four of us were pleased with our mains – fish of the day (red throat emperor) was probably the highlight, however the lamb rump and porterhouse were both very good as well. I like that there was no need to order sides as all the dishes were well balanced with veges etc as part of the meal. The range of deserts is awesome it’s a shame most of us were too full to sample any but the sticky date pudding was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised by Monza and will definitely go back, without having to book a week in advance like some other Leederville establishments.

Myself and my boyfriend went into Monza today for a quick lunch after doing some shopping. Overall We were very dissapointed. The restaurant was not even 1/4 full and we were placed between two occupied tables that were so close together we could hear two different conversations in each ear. We Ordered a dip sharing platter starter, drinks and a lunchtime special each (the pizza) the drinks came out early and we didnt have to wait too long for the starter. However we waited almost an hour for 2 pizzas. And we were quite upset when other people who had been seated after us received their meals before us. We were just about to up and leave when our pizzas arrived. The waitress did not know which pizza was which and gave us the wrong ones. Although the food was good we had to rush through our meal so my partner could get home and ready for work. We were there for almost 2 hours, and had to rush eating our pizza....So much for a quick lunch. I will not be going there again, and will not be recommending. | ||
