V isited the Mint Leaf on a night when there were no cameras to intrude on the running of this restaurant, therefore service was impeccable. Staff were attentive without being intrusive and everyone was really friendly. The food was undoubtedly the best we have had anywhere in Perth since the Parmelia Hilton Garden Restaurant closed its doors. Presentation of each dish was pleasing to the eye and to be able to appreciate the individual flavour of each part of the dish was something not often experienced nowadays. The decor is quietly relaxing. Chairs are extremely comfortable and, although the restaurant was full and everyone was talking, the carpet seems to absorb the excess noise one would have expected. You could probably use a little soft background music if conversation was not flowing with the company you were in and, should the Mint Leaf continue on they will need airconditioning for the hot weather. Well done to all and thanks for an extremely pleasant evening.

I wonder how the Minf Leaf will go now that Shane (chef) has left... I thought the food was the best thing they had going for them! | ||
