h why oh why do I bother dining in Perth? After visiting incontro I bleet/cry/wail to myself. My friend and I ordered a Farmhouse Plate each for breakfast. $11.00 for two small pieces of bread, a quarter avocado, butter from the plastic disposable tub, two tiny bits of cheese and half a tomato and the "non pieces de resistance" two bits of ham from a packet. YES one of those resealable PACKET type hams. And it cost EXTRA, $4.00 EXTRA. I could have brought my own resealable packet of ham.
So so dissappointing for a restaurant in such a perfect location, what are the visitors of Perth going to think of us if they eat there?
The service - she "missed" me. To get my attention a metre away and behind me, she tried to capture my attention by calling me sweety, then Miss, (alas, it didn't even register she was calling to me because I've never been called Miss by a 21 year old), still no attention from me so she clicked her fingers and shouted Miss even louder, you could imagine my surprise when it was me she was calling to.
incontro - it is restaurants like yours that put Perth down and reiterate why one should never dine out in Perth.

"Service" at incontro feels like you are a big inconvenience for them. The food is nice but you can make it yourself for cheaper at home. Also the din is incredible. Can't hear each other. Don't like this place a lot. There is a multitude of better Perth eateries. | ||

Despite the terrible review, and that one comment, the place always seems to be packed..? Something must be good there.. Will have to try it myself one day.. =) | ||

I think this place is always packed because of the location: and perhaps the diners are one time diners, not return diners. Completely contradicting myself here - I did go back to this restaurant in January 2007 and had Eggs Benedict that were good and the service was a lot better. | ||
