I
've been to greenhouse for brekky and lunch, and while I've yet to sample the dinner service, I'll tell you one thing - this place is great for brekky!
First of all, coffee's great. I know people say that a lot, but coffee here is really good. The place is like a giant leaf covered cube on the terrace, kinda hard to miss. The first time I was here with a couple of mates we had:
- poached eggs on crushed peas with basil and toast
- toasted muesli
- ocean trout with potato and caper salad
and the pancakes to finish off I think...
Most of the food us great, the poached eggs are perfect, probably one of the best I've had anywhere in Perth. The 5 or 6 times I've been there not once were the eggs overcooked. And the scrambled eggs are just as good (I don't ask for much in a good brekky =)). The subtle hint of basil in the crushed peas was very enjoyable. The trout and salad dish was also great, simple and well executed.
The place has the whole green concept thing down pat I'd say, what with the organic ingredients, recycled material that makes it up and what not. The service is friendly, and the place always seems busy. There always seems to be a wait though, but its not that noticeable unless you're really famished.
Greenhouse has become our favorite brekky spot, seeing as we make sure to visit at least once every fortnight, if not every week!

I really want to go after reading your review Chimera. I didn't realise they did breakfast and it sounds amazing (possibly best breaky in Perth!).

Hi Libby, I noticed the dying plants as well, but it looks like they're making an effort to prevent that and I don't think all the plants are dead! I'm pretty sure I haven't experienced pest problems though (Do you mean pests as in roaches or something else?).
