untastico is a trendy Italian restaurant on Rokeby Road. It has a great atmosphere and bookings are not necessary - in fact, Funtastico doesn't even take them. This is good, as you just walk in and can normally get a table - unless during prime time, when you may have to wait for a while.
We arrived quite early (6:30pm) and were taken care of by the friendly staff. They were attentive and helpful throughout our stay, even though the restaurant began filling up.
We shared a Pizza Margherita as a starter. It was delicious, although perhaps a little too hot. One of the great things about Funtastico is that you can see the food being prepared. The pizza chef's area is in a prime position for patrons to see, and he often puts on a show, throwing pizza bases into the air.
My main was a Fettucine Bolognese. This was very nice, and the tomato-based sauce was very enjoyable. The Bolognese meatballs were good, although a little raw in the centre for my taste.
Overall this was a very enjoyable meal. The prices for mains are reasonable for the quality of food - ranging from $22 - $38 (approx.)
