W e were after a nice night out and were not disappointed. We were seated at table on the veranda, which on a warm night was lovely. The service was fantastic - very attentive and friendly but not in your face. The food was delicious although our shared entree of chilli mussels could have had a bit more chilli and didn’t come with any bread but our mains were great. We will definitely go back.

My husband I I have been eating at Farrell's for nearly 7 years due to it being our local favourite cafe. On this unfortunate Sunday however we were to be hugely disappointed. We arrived at the cafe and were quickly seated and given menus. This was where the service stopped. We waited around 15 mins for our order to be taken, eventually my husband went to the counter to place our order. After waiting for 45 minutes for our meal we were becoming very hungry and even more annoyed - how long does it take to make a caesar salad and a BLT?? After 50 mintues I had had enough and went to the counter again and told the waitress we had been waiting and extremely long time for our meal and would be leaving. Unfortunately for Farrell's owners this cafe has gone from being our favourite in Victoria Park to being one we will quite likely never go to again.

My gosh. You are such a crybaby customer. You've been going to Farrell's for 7 years and one bad incident makes you write them off!!! I'm quite certain that the owner would be glad to see the back of you. I hope I don't see you there either!!

My 2c. My wife and I have been going to Farrell's for many years now also. We have nothing but praise for the staff and the atmosphere of the place. They do a fantastic cappuccino, and recently, their Apple Crumble has been to die for (you MUST get this with ice cream, it's fantastic!!).

Also, for a coffee lover, the wide variety of magazines to read while kicking back is quite a plus.
