iva cafe is located at the beginning of the beaufort st cafe strip, my friend and I had a breakfast reservation. We both selected the museli which was a huge disappointment. The museli was oven baked to the point of bitter caramelisation. The museli did not have dried fruit and was not served with any special extra's like fresh fruit or honey. Diva lacks any kind of ambience and they could work harder to create a more inviting and visually appealing restaurant. Although the cafe may appear be located in the trendy beaufort street strip, the food is far from what you would come to expect from a trendy beaufort eatery. The staff are a little cold and the menu is also uninteresting. It's filled with the same old cafe fare that you can get anywhere. Overall, my Diva experience was very average and a little disappointing. I suppose that's why the cafe is mostly empty.

My friends and I went to eat there recently and I would have to say that although the food is tasty and the cafe has a stylish fitout, the service is absolutely shocking. So much so, that we did not even receive enough cutlery for our table and when a dish arrived with a long curly hair in it, we let the wait staff know and they proceeded to accuse us of planting the hair in our own food! I have never experienced such irreputable service in any restaurant in Perth. It's such a shame since the food isn't too bad. | ||
