ood was fantastic, service was good. It was not clear on the phone what happened at 8:30 - we thought the whole restaurant turned into a cocktail bar. The waitstaff were awkward and almost embarrassed when they told us we had to move in 2 minutes even though we had nearly half a bottle of wine left. We realised that we had to move because the table was rebooked. Not a huge problem except moving to a wobbly bar stool and table is not exactly what i had in mind. Then we realised there was another table vacant and asked to move to that.
When paying a decent amount of money i think it's greedy for a restaurant to rebook tables, when we would have spent more money if we had been allowed to sit and enjoy our night for longer. It's a shame.

That's no good! How long were you there for? Did they ask you if you wanted to order anything else? Or did they just assume that you were going to finish your bottle of wine so you should be at the bar? | ||

That sucks.. Cream is one of my favourite places to dine and I'm shocked because I've never had a bad experience when dining there.. | ||

Actually while I have been at times when I felt necessary a bit serious/stern with my opinion and reviews on cream at no point in all the times we have dined there have they made no secret that they do 2 sittings. Sorry that you were asked to move and if the waitress at the time of booking hadnt explained they have two sittings then thats not good but hey what about the people waiting for the table | ||

come to think of it the reason as to why its probably never happened to me was because I always make reservations around 8/830, which is when 2nd seating starts.. | ||
