n ice location, flattering light and really funky furry red walls. service was not bad, but they did tend to leave you alone too much. found it hard to get their attention sometimes. otherwise they were friendly and it was enjoyable.

food was good, presentation was excellent. their lamb pasta dish was yummy :) very tender and not overcooked. and the flavour was not too strong. overall, a nice place to go with someone special. you can walk around east perth after.

Having been to Cream several times, I find it a restaurant to be recommended for selected dishes which it does very well. One is the lamb shank pasta, which is the best I have tried so far, and the braised beef served with wilted spinach which almost melts in your mouth. Take note though that the menu selection is fairly short, although I hope to think that what Cream does have, it does reasonably well.

I enjoy the fact that the walls are covered with what looks and feels like hairy carpet, since there is less noise in the restaurant and you can actually have a conversation without shouting.

A restaurant recommended for dinner with good friends.
