y partner and I went to Coode Street Café yesterday. Unfortunately we missed breaky but we ordered a dish off the lunch menu aptly named “Who needs lunch” which was a huge fry up. At $18 the serve was generous but the flavour could’ve used a little more attention. Don’t get me wrong, it was yummy but with a bit of love it could’ve been delicious.
I regretted my decision a little after seeing all the frittatas and tarts coming out. They looked really good and were served with tasty looking salad as a side.
When I went to the counter to pay I spied some yummy looking take away meals. At $8.50 they were all really good serves and looked delicious. I chose beef and Guinness stew on mash which I enjoyed for lunch today.
Coode Street offers value for money home style food and I will definitely be back for more.
