e actually called up Bertini's to book for Friday night and found out that they have since closed, and in it's place is a restaraunt called Char Char Bull.
Let me just say, the meal, and the service was amazing.
For entree's we had garlic prawns, chilli mussells and steak skewers. They were divine and cooked to perfection. Main's were steak (their speciality) and vegetables, or steak and prawns. Once again the steak was cooked to perfection, and the vegetables were delicious.
The waitress we had was fantastic. Attentive, and not obtrusive at all. Asked us after every course when we would like the next, and we could eat at our own leisure instead of being hurried out the door. We booked for 7.30 and didnt end up leaving till 11pm.
To top off the evening, the dessert was probably the best I've had anywhere. Chocolate peanut slice in hot sauce with ice cream. It was superb. Fresh and not too rich.
The cost was $284 for 4 entree's, 4 mains, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine. A little pricey, but well worth it indeed.
We will definately be going back!
