antina has a funky atmosphere to go with the funky Mt Lawley scene. Head chef Giles Bailey is producing some fantastic food.
We sampled the char grilled squid & chickpea salad, salt cod fritters, house made gnocchi (compliments of the chef), house made pappardelle with slow braised lamb necks... and my absolute favourite and undisputed champion of the table, white rocks veal breast with onion puree and green beans. All the food was superb, and as you may have gathered I rather enjoyed the veal. It was honestly the best veal I have ever eaten.
The service was efficient and professional and the whole menu is priced extremely well. I particularly enjoyed the selection of Spanish and Portuguese beer and wine. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone into honest food made with great quality ingredients.
