W e went on a wet Saturday night, fairly early, and dressed in jeans and joggers - we'd intended to go somewhere casual but were impressed by the menu and the warm welcome we received so decidd to try it out. My husband was enraptured by the lamb shoulder - he still raves about it three weeks later. He was so impressed he's booked to have his office Christmas party there. I went for the fish as it was the chef's recommendation. It was great, and the mornay sauce was superb. A small, but very good, wine list. Can't remember what we had but it was a local (Margaret River) cab merlot. Prices very reasonable. Only fault I found was with the bread served with the olive oil/balsamic. It was a light, I suspect, generic variety of something like a Vienna. Not nearly enough body for olive oil. But the staff were efficient and friendly (and they keep popping into the men's loo because that's where the linen cupboard is).
