lways keen to give new restaurants a chance (particularly around here in East Perth where there are relatively few decent ones to choose from) a group of us decided to check out Bradley's - a new restaurant on the inlet where Spicy Jazz used to be - for lunch.
Booking was no problem - for the entire hour we were there in a Friday lunch-time we were the only ones in the restaurant.
The prices were ok, the food average, the service fine (as you'd expect when you are the only patrons), the prices about what you'd expect. The location, however, is lovely. There was something strange going on in the men's toilets - the (female) staff kept going in and out of there like a revolving door - but otherwise it was adequate - nothing more. We will certainly not be rushing back.
There are now three lunch venues all located along the inlet (leaving out Lamonts which is in a totally different category, Baa Baa which is not actually on the inlet, and Shilla which, as a Korean restaurant, is not standard lunch fare) - The Royal, Noi and Bradley's. The Royal remains very popular but IMHO the clear order of establishments for quality of food and general dining experience is as follows 1) Noi, 2) Bradleys (just), and 3) Royal.
