Perth Food Review

B efore going to see comedian Arj Barker (who was hilarious!) at the Maj on Saturday night we decided to have a quick dinner with friends at Barre. We were surprised by how brief the menu was with six dishes in total on the pre-show dinner menu. I ordered the pasta with prawns (as did another of our group) and my husband ordered the spiced chicken with noodle salad (as did another of our group). The food was really great, quick and tasty and was just what we were after. They had run out of three of the eight or so beers on the menu but that didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. The service seemed a little bit new, but given the price was acceptable. My only major qualm was that the waitress cleared our table one plate at a time as each person finished. I thought it was basic table manners to wait until everyone was finished to leave/clear the table!? All in all though, I would recommend Barre for a quick pre-show meal. We left in a good mood ready to enjoy the show.
