nyone who has visited this restaurant over the last few years will be well aware that the food on offer has been somewhat inconsistent to say the least. Some readers may recall the addition of steak and chips to the menu by the last owner, surely a sign of the beginning of the end for an Indian restaraunt!
Well my wife and I decided to give the restaurant a try since we had read that it was under new ownership. We were pleasantly surprised. The food has of a high quality, if not large in serving size. The atmosphere was well created with new decorations using material hanging as a false ceiling, rich colours(no flock wallpaper though for our UK friends)and a relaxed but attentive service. The present owners have only been running the show for six weeks so let's hope that they can maintain the standard. BYO was okay but I did not check if they were licensed or not.

If you want quality Indian Food, I believe the best place to have dinner is at Bangles Indian Resturant, Kalamunda. The servings are a good size and the dishes taste exellent. We had the Keema matar which i believe is a new dish, and was told it went well with garlic naan bread, and so we went for it, and it sure did not dissapoint us. The decor of the resturant is great, as it suits a small Indian Resturant, its not over the top, but at the same time its not too little. Its great how there is an inside area of dinning as well as an outside. The staff at Bangles are friendly, polite, and do very well in making their guests feel welcome. I give the service and the food at bangles a 5 star rating and will be making regular visits to this resturant, and recommend this resturant to all who would like to have some good quality Indian food. | ||
