hat an incredibly disappointing evening.
The mood was set by an aggressive and extremely rude waitress who thankfully disappeared after seating the table, however, her male replacement, although more than competent, referred to the male guests as "mate". Oh dear.
The food was average in quality and taste and when one of the guests thought he had ordered a different main course, was told, "mate, what is in front of you is what you ordered". Whatever happened to taking the dish back and getting what the guest wanted? Another guest's half cooked salmon went back to be cooked through, but came back the still half cooked.
Overpriced, overrated and pretentious. At least the wine was nice.
