his is a bit of a blink & you'll miss it cafe. I have driven past it so many times & never thought to try it.
We tried Aperol on a rainy Friday evening & it was relatively full however they happily seated us without a booking. It has a friendly, laidback atmosphere, with crisp & clean fittings. We also brought our own wine & beers which were opened & in a chiller on the table before we even realised.
Fresh bread was then delivered to our table with olive oil & balsamic vinegar
Special mention must go to our waitress who told us the specials without even glancing at a notepad.
My partner ordered the pasta special as a main, I had the chilli mussels as a main & we shared a rocket, avacado & pinenut salad.
My mussels were so plump & tasty & were absolutely enormous.
The balsamic vinegar they use is also worth a mention as it wasn't at all tart or overpowering.
Aperol ticked all the boxes in my book. It delivered great service, atomsphere & the food was sensational. The other surprise was the bill which was so minimal.
I will definately be heading back for seconds.
