I
have been here twice now in three weeks and I don't understand why it isn't full of people. Is it a secret? Having said that, there was a steady flow of takeaways. A shame really, because the decor and attention to detail is worth a dine-in. If there were more people, perhaps there would be an atmosphere for me to comment upon.
Service is quiet and polite. The food is served in gorgeous clay pots (specially made for the restaurant) which keeps the food hot. This time we had fish tikka, vegetable tandoori, a mixed bread basket and a lamb curry. I cannot fault this food. Previously we had lentil dharshan (a Parsee dish), moorgh paneer (spinach + cheese), rice and kofta. As a vegetarian, I was well catered for - there is plenty to try.
Sadly there are only 2 dessert options but both are top notch - carrot halwa and homemade kulfi.
This restaurant deserves a try.
