20-04-2012 : gungadin : I have been to the Friary several times and have NEVER had a bad meal. My favourites are the stew and the roast and vegies with yorkshire pudding yum!, The desserts are always pretty good too : ). Absolutely love this place! :: [original context]
24-07-2011 : nikki : We have just moved into Armadale and was looking for a nice place to eat we came across The friary as it did not look like much from the out side a lady commented for us to come in as the food was lovley, We were not disapointed we got starters of salt and pepper squid and a mushroon bake and the mains were lamb shank and beef madalions both were heavenly so much so we went back for lunch the next day Thank you so much for the best food experience i've have had :D :: [original context]

First of all I would just like to tell everyone who reads this alittle about my self. I trained for 3yrs full time catering college in the uk and worked in various establishments all over the world eg Claridges london ,(pre Gordon ramsey ) hotels and casinos as head chef including uk , spain , mallorca , russia and australia . My business has been operating in Armadale for five years and getting stronger each year despite the recent recession. Back to your comment . I do remmember you are being extremley rude as soon as you came in . Thats why the waiteress gave you a wide birth because of the strange and insulting comments you were saying to her and after your meal the waiteress had to call me from the kitchen to deal with the situation as you where continually demanding that the meals should be free as they were unedible DESPITE the fact that you and your friend had eaten two thirds of your meals , You sir are what we refer to in the catering industry as a PROFESSIONAL DINER , where you go to a restaurant , eat most of the meal and then complain about it to get it for FREE . As I have been in catering for 22yrs I can spot you a mile away ,which is why you didnt get your meal for free .So as your comment proves to me and others who have read this , it should be more professor bull#### an professor chaos . yours MARK THE CHEF :: [original context]
