The newly restored Raffles looks great, and it definitely has tons of potential. Decor is simple and classy, with a large courtyard. Restaurant upstairs seats about 150. Has a bottle shop as well.

12-02-2007 : Tony : I strongly urge you to try the dinner experience. I have eaten there once for dinner and it was spectacular. I have also had reports from at least 3 other people that their nights were of equal standard. Amazingly one of the strong points of the dinner experience is the service, drinks arrived promptly and everyone waiting on us was very professional. The odd thing was that there were so many staff working when I was there, the restaurant was alive with them. And the restaurant was full so they were all fairly busy.
