| 01-03-2006 : Niiki : Disgusting food, disgusting service. There were only a handful of people in the restaurant, and now I know why. Waited and waited for our meals for at least an hour. $2 each for corkage is just plain cheeky, although I would rather pay corkage than the over-inflated prices in the drinks list (which has only very average wines on it). I ordered the char-grilled chicken with some sort of sauce which came out raw - as soon as I cut one of the ends you could see it was raw! handed it back to the waitress and she assured me that they were cooking me a fresh one. Same pieces of chicken came back (it was obvious from the missing end on one of the pieces), now burnt. Sent that back too but wasn't worth ordering anything else as our table had just about finished their meals. No-one apologised and nothing was done to compensate. Awful service. Awful food. Awful coffee. Just AWFUL. Needless to say, we are never returning. :: [original context] |
