| 19-02-2007 : Nadia11 : I visited Cafe Il Porto on Valentines Day. I was really looking forward to a great valentines so I booked weeks in advance. I chose Cafe Il Porto out of every restaurant in Perth as I thought it would be perfect for valentines. I couldn’t have been more wrong! We drove 30 mins to have our Valentines dinner to be seated and have to wait 45 mins for our entree which was only garlic bread! Then 2 hours after waiting for our main course we asked where it was and they said we were on top of the priority list! my partner received his main meal after waiting 2 hours but they still kept me waiting! They FINALLY came out with my dinner, but it was THE WRONG MEAL! I was so frustrated and told the waitress I had waited for over 2 hours to receive the wrong meal! a few minutes later they came out with my meal (Fettuccini carbonara). I was frustrated by this point that I couldn’t hardly eat I was soooo angry! I tried the meal and couldn’t believe it, it was absolutely disgusting. It had absolutely no taste to it. It tasted like plain pasta! I was so disappointed and didn’t even finish the meal I waited 2 hours for. We left the restaurant without any discount AND STARVING BEACUSE BOTH OF OUR MEALS WERE WAY BELOW STANDARD.! It was meant to be a romantic dinner and I left hungry, annoyed and ripped off.
