Same over priced rubbish food, same arrogant and uncaring staff.

| 04-11-2009 : cosmo : Hi,I agree with Shannon.I have been going to the Lizzy for about a couple of years.And yes,the place was looking a little tired about a year or so ago.The food has always been very tasty and generous.The specials are worth looking out for.As for the atmosphere,the new owners have done wonders.The gardens are a real treat and the decor is amazing.I have seen lots of weddings,partys tourists etc all having a great time.They even have bands on the weekends.Apparently it is also an historical site.My wife and i love the place and often take visitors there for the experience.Keep it up lizzy! :: [original context] |
| 16-10-2009 : shannon : We go to the lizzy nearly once a week and we absoloutly love the place. The pub is under new ownership and the place now looks fantastic. We usually go up on the weekends and the place is full of people who just want to have a nice relaxing time, like us. The beer is brewed on the premises so you know its good and for serving nearly 300 people on friday, saturday and sunday nights the chef and his kitchen put out great food with usually fantastic specials aswell. We never leave feeling hungry and the prices are good too. I agree that in the past the place hasnt been the greatest but know its a total different atmosphere!!!!!
