| 12-03-2008 : ALM2008 : I was really looking forward to a lovely evening.. catching up with a good friend over a nice meal. The weather was perfect and I'd been wanting to try the Blue Water Cafe. I WAS SOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!! Although the wait staff (all very young in their teens) were lovely, I have to say that, my meal WAS HORRIBLE!!! I love eating out and really appreciate good service (and good food) and I hate complaining about anything... but I just could not eat what was infront of me!! So I very politely returned my meal to the kitchen and the waiter who looked after me was very nice. At the end of the evening I was charged for the meal I returned and the manager was EXTREMELY RUDE... I was really shocked by how rude she was infact as I was really very pleasant to her. She tried to tell me that I didn't know how meat was supposed to be cooked (I've been eating and loving meat my whole life and I'm pretty sure by now that you are supposed to able to cut it with your knife!) and that it was supposed to be all fatty!! hmmm.... She reluctantly adjusted the bill after trying to make me pay for the meal... and this place is NOT CHEAP (I couldn't believe it!) anyway I was really upset by the whole experience and there is no way I would ever recommend anyone ever go there. Or at least do NOT order the meat and avoid any human contact with the BITTER RUDE female manager (in her 40's with brown hair)!! :: [original context] |

We were incredibly disappointed to see that the cafe now had new ownership, a new look and a new menu. The ambience was gone, the selections were sparse and expensive. It is now like a clone of all other cafes in Perth. We were so disappointed, our party of 5 departed and went elsewhere! :: [original context] |
