| 27-08-2009 : nicole : I visited Bada Bing in Feb 09 and it was great. Great food, huge servings, prompt service, and we didn't feel rushed out the door. Only downside was the ambience, which was a bit loud and busy. The owner assured us that he was in the process of rectifying the problem. I recommend giving this place a go. :: [original context] |
| 06-11-2007 : Phase 2 : Sunday lunch: Great menu choices, really good food. Atmosphere unique. Service was really not up to scratch. Asked by 2 waitpersons if we wanted water to which we said yes, then had to ask again until finally had to get up from the table and remind the waitperson we were still waiting! Glass refills instead of carafes for the table, are not a good idea in a busy place that serves sometinmes salty or spicy food. Our empty plates were not removed for a good 30 mins. Just as well we were enjoying our company. Still, I'd go back because the food is so good.

| 22-04-2006 : Libby : My partner and I went to Bada Bing last night at the last minute (when the purple goat was fully booked!). We were seated at a lovely table outside with a view to the lake with some surprisingly effective outdoor heaters it wasn't too cold. The food was very nice, I had the duck with boy choy and orange risotto ($26.5) which I could definitely recommend, my partner had the surf and turf which was quite good but not the best surf and turf in Perth and not that cheap at $32. Sadly though the service let things down particularly by what seemed to be the maitre d / manager, it took too long to get some water and a drink and when it came to paying the same man was rude. He didn’t ask how our meals were or make any chit chat just told us how much we owed and then proceeded to short change us $10 and disappeared so quickly we were forced to wait and spot a passing waitress to tell her when he did return to give us our $10 he didn’t apologise. It’s a shame really because this could be an excellent suburban restaurant but I’m not sure we would rush back. :: [original context] |
