26-06-2006 : LJMfoods : I've been here 3 times in the last year (1 good, 1 great and 1 ok). Well turned out thai with a few hot/spicy dishes. I've tried most of the curries. Jungle curry was my favourite. Service is good and it's not hard to get a table (beware, the balcony while providing a plesent view of the street, can get noisy due to the tiles). :: [original context]
26-04-2005 : an9ie : Very good food all around. The curry portions are a touch small for their cost, and the platter dishes are much better value. I have noticed that the service has been slipping each time I've visited, and their corkage charges are rather cheeky. Recommended dishes are: Entrees - Miang Tuna, Chicken in Pandan Leaf, Main: Chicken with Cashews, Massaman Curry, Fish with Chilli. :: [original context]

28-09-2004 : Phil H : Once again, I revisted the Amarin Thai and was not disappointed. The service was a touch off, but, only as explained, that they were short a waitperson. I had to have the whole fish again with chilli and it was superb! This restaurant is consistently producing great food in nice surroundings. I will be back! :: [original context]
25-05-2004 : Backpacker : Where is the menu for this place?? :: [original context]
16-05-2004 : Libby : We ate at Amarin Thai on Friday night. I would not give this place 10 for food or service. We had to go to the bar each time we wanted more drinks because the only time we ever saw a wait person was to take our orders and deliver them. The food was good but the currys weren't particually generous, not much meat just a lot of sauce and the tamarind prawns were too hot considering there was no mention of chilli on the menu description. I would say this restaurant actually should get around 7/10 and doesn't deserve to be top of the scores table. :: [original context]
