So, the recent review of Fish Monger Seafood has triggered me to write about an issue that has puzzled me for a little while.
I've never been there but I imagine that Fish Monger is a pretty good seafood restaurant - but to give it a 9, 10 and 10 is to rate it higher than Loose Box, Jackson's, Amuse, Cream, etc etc etc.
I have had similar concerns with say Tony Romas. It is great as a steak/ribs house, but how do you compare it to some of the fine dining places? And the new burger restaurants, same thing.
Anyone else have similar thoughts?

The Fish Monger is Not in the same class of Restaurant as Loose Box or Jacksons which are rated as 5* Fine Dining.
It probably is worth 9/10 in its class.

Tony

Spot on JRSDC the potential to get 10/10/10 is a potential to be the best in its class. You cannot compare across classes it would be like comparing two well known fruits.
